A site to share family stories

The sites/tracy.hurleyit.com/files/img_thumbnails is not writeable

GrandpaTellMe.com

With a website from GrandpaTellMe.com you can record and share family memories, keep in touch with family members and pass on family histories. In addition you can schedule family events, create family scrapbooks and exchange files of any type. All of this within a secure, password protected environment.

Although the name is a bit strange, the site is pretty useful for family historians. It allows users to share calendars, news, photos, histories, and files with group members. In beta, the current version allows one to upload a total of 20MB monthly and use a total of 50MB of disk space. Unfortunately, it appears to lack family tree capabilities at this time, although one could always post their tree to Ancestry.com and include a link here. I also don't see a way to create multiple groups from one user account, although I assume users can be members of multiple groups. All in all, I think it's a great start and will be very useful to a number of family historians out there.
