Belcher Family History at the New England Historic Genealogical Society

I spent my Saturday researching Belcher family history at the New England Historic Genealogical Society Research Library in Boston, Massachusetts. The morning went pretty well as I found a number of probate and other records referring to the Belcher family. However, I decided to do something on Saturday that was a first, I looked over the manuscript collection and found this:

Papers, Belcher, Harry Clifford, 1923-

These papers comprise a number of boxes(if I remember correctly, about five in total), or about 2.5 linear feet, and 52 years of research on the Gregory and Jeremiah Belcher lines. Included in the research are family group sheets, photos, transcribed records, and correspondence. Much of this data has never been published. In addition, Harry C Belcher indexed the entire collection. If you are researching Belcher ancestors in one of these two lines, I would suggest taking a look at this great resource.
