BlogAds Logo

The sites/tracy.hurleyit.com/files/img_thumbnails is not writeable

Somehow I missed this (probably because I never go to BlogAds anymore), but apparently BlogAds has changed their logo as a result of a logo design contest they had back at the end of last year. I’m not really sure what to say, but I will start by saying it stinks. The old logo was horrendous, and the new one is just mildly horrendous, but is barely an improvement at all. Kind of a lateral move in the overall image upgrade department at best. Old Logo New Logo Now, I did find the link to the finalists, and I have to say…there are some solid contenders on their list…and yet somehow, BlogAds managed to pick what appears to be, hands down, the worst one of the bunch. Now no disrespect to MDLWST who is credited with the design, as I am sure they do good work (although I can’t find a portfolio on their site). I mean, their logo WAS picked after all, which is really all that matters…but this logo “upgrade” is a head shaker.

  • @citizenherald If I may, I would suggest putting a note on the category page so people know. I know other people who were confused too. — 16 years 14 weeks ago
  • @citizenherald Believe me, I definitely understand. And thanks for the reply, at least I know if I buy the paper it will be in there. — 16 years 14 weeks ago
  • @citizenherald I know it's the last thing you want to hear, but I'm under a paper deluge as it is. Maybe a sub model for online content? — 16 years 14 weeks ago
  • @citizenherald Any chance you guys could post the police and fire logs again? I really miss them. — 16 years 19 weeks ago
  • @danigrrl That was quite amusing. — 16 years 19 weeks ago
