Free Music From Barsuk
In between Rouge Wave and Nada Surf last night at the Paradise, my brother reminded me of a treasure trove of free (and good) music that sits for the taking on the Barsuk Records website. Barsuk, for those that are unfamiliar, is home to such artists as The Long Winters, Nada Surf, Mates Of State, and others. In fact, they were the original label of one Death Cab For Cutie, who recently released their first major label album, but holds ties to the small Seattle label still.
