Google announces Summer of Code results; Drupal gets TWENTY slots! | drupal.org
http://drupal.org/node/135602
We are thrilled to announce that Google will be sponsoring 20 Drupal projects for Summer of Code 2007. The students, their projects, and the mentors for each are listed below. As the summer progresses, these students will be turning to the community for support and for help testing their work. ...
I've been using Drupal for a couple of years now, and I've found it to be one of the best content management systems out there. These projects will help it even more. A few of particular interest are the Feed Aggregation module, Project quality metrics system, and the Scalability, Load Balancing, and High Availability modules.
