Here is Marcus Lonsberry in the 1850 census.

Source Citation: Year: 1850; Census Place: Newburgh, Orange, New York; Roll: M432_573; Page: 2; Image: 7.

  • Henry Lounsberry 46 M Laborer NY
  • Sally Lounsberry 44 F NY
  • Marcus Lounsberry 23 M NY
  • Amanda Lounsberry 16 F NY
  • Mercy Lounsberry 5 F NY

I'm not sure how Henry is related to Marcus. He's old enough to be his father, but he is also young enough to potentially be his brother. While Marcus does marry an Amanda, I'm not sure the Amanda here is his wife, although it would make sense if she was since their son Albert is born in 1850. Mercy continues to live with Henry and Sally after this census. Another thing to note is that the Jane Wear on the same page is listed in a later state census as living with Marcus with the relationship, parent.

  • @cagatayk Have you tried Moxi yet? It does consistent hashing so it allows for changing nodes. http://labs.northscale.com/moxi/ — 15 years 13 weeks ago
